Only have $10 that you are willing to spend? Not a problem at all. There are 4 great options that are affordable and INCREDIBLY useful. That’s the key here.

Don’t spend $10 on a stupid golf gizmo that you’ll never use. These three items under $10 will make your life easier AND last a lifetime as long as you don’t lose them.

Divot Repair Tool + Magnetic Ball Marker Holder + Belt/Hat Clip

the best divot repair ball marker holder magnetic belt hat clip tool best tool accessory

A very helpful tool that every golfer needs is a divot repair tool. But wait, there’s more. It also holds your ball market. But way, there’s more. It also clips to your hat or belt, so you don’t have to worry about fiddling around in your pocket with all of your tees and golf balls. It’s an awesome three in one tool.

The one that I’ve linked to comes with an awesome American flag ball marker, so that’s a huge plus. This is the only one that I could find that has all three of the features in one item, and it only costs $8 (at the time of me writing this post) with free shipping.

Why it’s worth it:

  • 3 benefits in one (repair divots, hold your ball marker, and clip to your belt/hat)
  • Helps keep the greens in good shape after leaving big divots, only if you are hitting the greens though 🙂
  • Includes a cool American flag ball magnetic ball marker
  • Comes in nickel, gold, and bronze colors
  • Costs less than $10

RETRACTABLE Golf Club Brush

retractable golf club cleaning brush bristles groove sharpener tool in one accessoryDid you see that I capitalized the word “RETRACTABLE”. Yep, that was on purpose. It’s because it makes a huge difference. Don’t just get a cheap brush that doesn’t retract.

A normal golf club brush get thrown in your bag, or in your pocket, or in the golf cart. Then, it gets lost or forgotten about or is incredily difficult to find again when you need it. A RETRACTABLE golf club brush stays on your bag. You always know where it is, and it’s always where you need it to be (near your clubs). You retract it when you need it to clean off a club face or remove debris from the grooves. It retracts back to your bag when you are done. Boom. Simple.

Why it’s worth it:

  • Has soft bristles, hard bristles, AND a club face groove cleaner to ensure your club faces stay clean
  • Retracts, which is far more helpful than you realize, until you get one
  • Will last forever and won’t get lost
  • Comes in a set of two for under $10, with free shipping

Swingyde Unbranded Training Aid

the best golf training aid under 10

Hey, when the budget is tight, you have to make sacrifices. It’s about $30 for the original Swingdye, but you can pick up an unbranded Swingyde training aid for under $10. Actually, you can pick up TWO of them for under $10 total. That way, you can keep on in your bag and one on a club at home for you to practice with.

The Swingyde truly was a great help when it came to rebuilding my swing. It helped mostly with my takeaway, wrist hinge, and backswing positions that I wanted to get into. Before, I always whipped the club behind me, which is a very common problem among golfers. I also had very little wrist hinge in general. Using the tool, I was able to improve my wrist hinge (which is more vertical than horizontal, believe it or not), which lead to a great takeaway position and top of the backswing position.

I will say that it hurt my left forearm pretty badly. I would HIGHLY recommend wearing a thick sweatband when the training aid makes contact with your arm.

Why it’s worth it:

  • Can be attached to any club
  • Improves face angle, wrist hinge, and release of the golf club after impact
  • Can buy 2 for under $10, with free shipping. One can stay in your golf bag, and one can stay at home for you to practice with.
